Hi! I’m Mónica,

I’m an astrologer, creative director, and filmmaker, born in Caracas, Venezuela. I studied Journalism in Venezuela and Art and Film in Boston, Massachusetts, before moving to New York City, where I founded the interdisciplinary studio Mogollon.

For over 15 years, I worked across fashion, film, music, commerce, and art, creatively directing projects at the intersection of storytelling, image, and meaning.

Astrology has been a profound part of my life since my first reading at age fifteen. Some things feel engraved in ancestral memory—Astrology is one of those things for me. Over the years, I’ve studied with many respected astrology teachers, most recently completing a one-year Master’s program with Silvia Neira.

For the past 11 years, I’ve been reading natal charts for clients and teaching astrology to small groups in both English and Spanish. My approach draws from mythology, history, film, and art to visually communicate the wisdom of Astrology in a way that feels grounded, elegant, and accessible.

I work with astrology as both an ancient science and a contemporary tool for personal evolution. I believe it is a practical and powerful system for self-understanding, alignment, and conscious growth, and I’m passionate about sharing this knowledge with as many people as I can.
